Building Shelters

Providing Shelter

The Homeless Coalition, Inc. and Homeless in America, Inc. are dedicated to providing resources to help the homeless, emphasizing shelter. That’s our mission.

Although we will provide food, clothing and other necessities, our main focus is providing shelters for the homeless.

We are in the process of building cargo trailer campers, Van campers, tiny homes, and bike campers. Our organizations will also provide land with a community center, that feeds and shelters the homeless, and provides necessities for homeless individuals including life coping skills.

Because shelter is critical for life and one of the most expensive and most difficult to provide, our organizations will emphasize building shelters. Our organizations will also network and work with governmental agencies and other organizations to help solve the homeless crisis.

Building Shelters

Our plan is to purchase land and develop a homeless community. A place for the homeless to be safe, get healthy, and prosper. The community will feed, clothe, educate, and provide shelter. Providing shelter is the key to success. Everyone throws food and clothing at the homeless, but shelter is almost impossible to find. We plan on building tiny homes, converting vehicles like vans into campers, and converting cargo trailers into campers.

Creating Community

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread, but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty — it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love as there is a hunger for God.”

A Place to Call Home

We need to love and care for the lost and homeless; those without a home. The song I wrote, “Show Me the Way,” is about searching for meaning and purpose in life. We create homes and help the homeless find their way in life. The path of love.
