The Voice of The Homeless

We represent the homeless

Help the Homeless

Our companies, “The Homeless Coalition” and “Homeless in America” are dedicated to helping the homeless. We are in the process of developing communities that will provide food, shelter, and clothing for the homeless. We will also provide educational life coping skills. We are the voice of the homeless and represent them.

Providing Shelter

The most vital need of the homeless is shelter. Everyone is willing to throw breadcrumbs to them. Food is readily available. But shelter is almost impossible to find. The homeless are in crisis. They need shelter.

The Power of One

“The greatest disease in the West today is not TB or leprosy; it is being unwanted, unloved and uncared for. We can cure physical diseases with medicine, but the only cure for loneliness, despair and hopelessness is love. There are many in the world who are dying for a piece of bread, but there are many more dying for a little love. The poverty in the West is a different kind of poverty — it is not only a poverty of loneliness but also of spirituality. There’s a hunger for love as there is a hunger for God.”

Mother Theresa

The Power of One

Mother Theresa was once asked how she copes with the overwhelming responsibility of helping thousands of people. How does she face the millions in need? She replied, “Jesus said love one another. He didn’t say love the whole world. I never look at the masses as my responsibility. I look at the individual. I can love only one person at a time. I can feed only one person at a time. Just one, one, one. It is not how much we do, but how much love we put in the doing. It is not how much we give, but how much love we put in the giving. Do ordinary things with extraordinary love.”

The Help Jerry Champaign

Jerry has been homeless, living in his van over a dozen years. He’s 77 years old and in declining health. He lives in a 1996 van and it’s falling apart. Jerry is one step away from living on the street and facing a grave future. Jerry is in peril of literally not surviving.

We started “The Help Jerry” champaign to repair his van and save his life.

“In America, the homeless are treated like second rate citizens. The resources earmarked for them, never materialize or reach the streets. Their lifespans are 15 to 20 years less than average. They are literally dying in the streets.”
